What's It Worth

Postby Bill Hudson » Thu Mar 02, 2017 12:40 pm

What is a reasonable price for a 6-volt combination rear light (the one with the little red light on the top) worth? Good metal and the switch turns.

Thanks.

Bill, they were going for around $50-60 several years ago. Not sure what they bring nowadays.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

I guess I should have asked, internal or external red light?

Bill,

That would be external.

Thanks, the internal bulb is also above the clear bulb in the housing, hence the question.

So do I, my apologies for any confusion, but after looking at one of mine, The internal red light is just below the clear light.

I recently purchased one on Ebay for $40, had a dent near the base but otherwise pretty decent. I've seen better ones go for nearly $100, depends on condition and demand.

No and no. A friend has one and was curious as to value, so I went to the source for "all things Cub."
