Big snow for the N.E., are you ready?
Been watching the weather and news channels, it ain't looking good. Nor'easter and blizzard are some of the words being used. We're looking at more than a foot and those north of us might see two.
The worst part is it's going to start at midnight.
For me that means no sleep. I have that shelter logic shed so I'll be out there every other hour to clear snow or it'll get crushed by the snow.
With my recent surgery I'm still recovering so last Friday had me using a push broom again to do the job. Too heavy for me now, I went to Home Depot and bought a roof rake. Much better to have the right tool for the job.
Good luck to you guys up in the New England states. Gas up, plow up and set out your warm clothes.
This may be the big one for the year.

We are supposed to be getting 12-18 here in pa. Of course it's my week to plow at work, so I'll be doing that for many hours straight. Won't have much energy left for my driveway, hopefully my truck will make it up so I don't have to deal with clearing it...

Easy does it folks. Don' t over do it.
You have the rest of your lives to fight winter.
Shoveling here in Michigan's light snow today. Should be less than a half foot.
Plow is off the truck since ground thawed a while back and Cub blade is off ,still needing a wear blade/ edge.
Forcast for later in the week breaks freezing. Snow will start to melt again and for those who are not superman ,the let the wind settle the dust theory will prevail , eventually.
Again ,easy does it! Live to fight another day , or winter.

Good advice. This time of year, the snow never lasts long.

Cub will be ready to go!
Definitely going to be out through the afternoon and evening taking it inches at a time. No way is my Cub going to push 18" all at once!
Sure glad to have Aron back in the house.

...normally would agree, but this storm is going to bring in another Artic blast for the rest of the week into the weekend followed by another big storm for New England this time next week...according the latest models. The storm we're getting tomorrow was first talked about over a week ago. They got the Friday dusting to an inch correct, but we didn't get the small clipper on Saturday night that was forecast, but are in for a good one tomorrow.
...just think, 2 weeks ago I was outside in a t-shirt!

I want a bigger share of the Global Warming! Snow, 8 to 12 forecast here, more to the west and North.

Calling for 16-24" here starting around midnight. Probably be plowing during the storm to stay ahead of it.

Dave,
I like your Cub garage.
You may want to lower your shades - gonna be windy!
