Cub Headlight Switch

Postby tst » Wed Apr 12, 2017 10:09 am

Thought you might be amused, picked up this longstripe and the owner explained to me that the headlights were added on at the dealer using this light switch

Make sure you use proper lock out/tag out procedures when replacing headlight bulbs. You even have a tab to install a padlock.

There has to be more to it than that. Such as buyer didn't want to pay for switch but had that laying around, etc.
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!

When I got my old Jeep, it had been thoroughly farmerized like that. There was romex household solid copper wiring running under the dash and lots of wires just twisted together and a doorbell button attached to the dash. Was all fun and games until I took it out for my first drive and sparks flew out from under the dash every time I hit a big bump.
