Cub Touch Control Rebuild Help

Postby farmalldean » Fri Apr 28, 2017 5:42 pm

I am very proud that I was able to disassemble the Touch Control Block as described in the Cub Service Manual..............except for the 3/4 inch castle nut on the big piston. It will not budge using a 3/4 inch box head coupled to a 7/8 inch box head which is darn good leverage. Any ideas?

I've watched the Steiner video on that rebuild. They used an1/2" impact to remove it I believe

Impact wrench aught to do it. It sure has for me on a number of nuts and bolts.
