It's a trick. Female thinking. Shine and polish and everything is great. Doesn't have to run, just look spiffy.
I have an excuse. CRS.

Yes it is a trick!
When my wife gives me the green light for spending cash she's got something in mind for herself.

Girls like pretty things...My wife even made me take my Ferguson Parts tractor, move it to the center of the backyard, put it on a bed of mulch, put rocks around it as a border, and she decorates it with flowers....She calls it Uncle Rusty....I even bought her a Cub, but she said it was to big for her and didn't want to "break" it....So I had to add it to my fleet....Drat !!!!!!....I told her I might buy her a Lo Boy in the future...( Kinda like the one I have to mow with).....She just smiled......Dave

I have the opposite problem. My wife keeps trying to buy more tractors, and she does not like new ones. :)

When it comes to tractors and pickups my wife likes them old and showing all the "patina" of age too. While she wouldn't be crazy about my bringing another tractor home she'd prefer I left the ones I have looking crusty.
If we got anything new to us her wish is to have an old Apache pickup for herself.
