194 Parts Manual

Postby tmays » Tue May 09, 2017 8:08 am

Trying to access 194 parts manual in PDF manuals. Page just disappears on my phone when I'm almost there. Anyone have a link to just that manual? Or a list of bolts for the 194 if you've ever restored one? I know of at least a couple on mine that aren't correct. Thanks
Thomas

Thomas,
I think you need the PO6 catalog to find the parts you are looking for.
Jim Becker has it.

Thanks for replying, Peter. Yeah, I wasn't sure if that manual was in the PDF manuals. I tried the most likely(to me) place, but no luck. Looks like I may be winging it. Was hoping to get the proper bolts before I started tearing it down

Bob Melusky may also have a copy of PO6.

I'll dig through my archives at home tonight to see what I have going back 10 years ago when I needed a new point and share for my Plow Chief.

Which L-F194 do you have, Plow Chief or Super Chief?

Pretty sure it's a plow chief, but I'll check later today to be sure

The CBI-3 in the PDF manuals stops before the section for the 194. At least one version of the CBI-2A manuals has the 194 plow. Note that will not include the bottoms. The bottoms are in PO-6. The PO-6 in the PDF manuals is from 1954 and includes the Plow Chief bottom but nothing newer (Replaceable Shin Plow Chief or any Super Chief). If that PO-6 doesn't get you what you need, we'll have to look elsewhere.

Thank you, Jim. I'll have to wait until I can get to my desktop to look. Pain in the butt on the phone
