clicking noise in 2nd and 3rd gear

clicking noise in 2nd and 3rd gear

I have a 1952 cub which has a clicking noise in 2nd and 3rd gear which sounds like it coming from my left side by the rear tire, final drive or axle It happens mostly when the tractor is going up hill and does not make a noise going down a slight incline or when I disengage the clutch does not make a sound in 1st gear any help or information will be appreciate thankyou so much in advance Gary

Gary,
Make sure the wheel center bolts and rim to center bolts are tight.

After checking the hub and rim bolts, check for a loose shifter fork.
