I can't find Lurker Carl's Carb Fixes . Can someone link me to it or to anything else on the site that outlines carb rebuild .

Hi,
Here are pages from the Cub parts manual showing the IH carburetor.
Below that is a page from the Cub service manual showing the float height and float drop, the IH carb is in the upper pics on the page.
Pull the 2 halves of the carb straight apart, so you don't break the idle tube, which is screwed into the top half of the carb.
I would blow out all the passages in the carb with air. Wear your safety goggles when using the air. :)

Hi,
If the carburetor drips gas on the ground when the Cub is sitting, the float level could be too high, or there could be dirt in the needle and seat, or the needle and seat is not sealing from wear, and needs replacing with new parts. :)
