Lights

I have some lights (tear drop) and I want to use the pancake housings on my Loboy (12V now). I have new gaskets and lenses, the reflectors are okay and the clamps are in good shape. The pancakes are just the housing, nothing else. Can you get the bulb socket and the wire connector at the base? Is there a good resource that shows detail and how to?

Hi,
Maybe you already knew, the 2 lights you have in the 2nd pic have the red tail light, and are for the rear of a tractor.
They have replacement flat back sealed beams on the internet that are 12 volts, it says. They look the same as the original 6 volt units, I think. I haven't looked lately.
TM Tractor has the parts that are gone from the flat back lights that you have. The sealed beam is 6 volts, but they have pics you can look at. It has the IH part number there, Google it, and the 12 volt ones should show up.
The complete 12 volt flat back lights might cost less on the internet than the individual parts.
TM Tractor has the grille and LoBoy emblems also. :)

If you are running a 12 generator I could consider using LED. I know these lights from Larsen https://www.larsenlights.com/par-36-45- ... lood-light fit my pancake lights. These lights are from steiner looks similar but I have not fitted them in the housing https://www.steinertractor.com/ABC349012-Volt-LED-Lamp

Did the 56 Loboy have flat housings originally? The flat housings take a different light and light ring clamp?

Original headlights on a 56 would have looked like this.

Yes, If you go to TM's site under electrical, they show both styles with part #'s.
