Fuse / wiring questions

Postby Luke470 » Thu Jul 20, 2017 6:06 pm

How and where does the fuse hook into the wiring?
How is the light switch (3 position) wired in?
And what wire goes to the + terminal and which goes to the - terminal on the ammeter?

This is on a cub currently being converted to 12V.
Thanks!

From another post I just found it sounds like the fuse is for the lights only.

Hi,
You didn't say what year Cub you are working on. I guess it is one of your 1950's Cubs, having a 3 position light switch.
Yes, the original fuse is for the lights only.
Here are pages from the 1955 Cub owner's manual showing the wiring behind the dash.
The descriptions for the numbers on the 1st page are on the 2nd page. :)
