Fast hitch Loboy?

Postby Jackman » Mon Aug 14, 2017 7:22 am

In the pic from TM Tractor, three bolts thru the fender , two of the bolts go thru the FH Leveler , the thrird bolt thru the fender and spacer,
the question is what does the other side of the third bolt look like :? ,,,, on mine its too close to the floor pan to use the proper bolt ,,
I don't get what is wrong cause I have all the original mounting hardware , its like the spacers are too big. Any thoughts?

I don't follow exactly what your question is. Maybe the answer is --- A Fast-Hitch tractor used shorter spacers than a non-Fast-Hitch tractor.

There are two different length spacers. Could part of the issue be that you have the spacers not in the correct locations?

The question is what does the other side of the third bolt look like, just trying to see how much space is between the bolt head and the floor pan, mine is too tight to fit the bolt, this is an original fast hitch Cub, I took the FH off 25 years ago but I kept the bolts and spacers :tractor:

I checked and they appear to be correct, I'm thinking maybe the floor pan is bent , will get a better look in the morning. Thanks for the reply :!:

I went out and checked a couple tractors. The third (bottom) bolt is short, only goes through the Fast-Hitch part and into the housing. Without the hitch, the hole is empty.

I can see how that would work, but then the fender would be left with just two bolts holding it on , am I understanding this correctly , just two bolts for the right fender :? ?
