If you are talking about the 53 524D cable, I was not able to locate any so I popped for new housing assemblies for the 12 volt upgrade I am doing.

I'd be interested in a pair if they are available online somewhere...

Do you mean you have to buy a whole new reflector assembly in order to get the socket that holds the bulb?

I wasn't clear....I have the assembly and can clean up the actual socket. I am looking for the spring, wire, flat contact head that the bulb actually touches.

Those parts a common to older style trailer lights. You might be able to buy one and use the parts.

it is a socket for a BA15S bulb single-contact single-filament

for $0.99 You could buy
https://www.superbrightleds.com/moreinf ... d/171/770/

and strip it or look around in NAPA or other auto parts store

Does anyone happen to have a good picture of actually how the inside of the light is wired? I frankly have never seen a light with the wiring...all I have are housings, lenses, reflectors, etc.

You have not stated what style headlights. A 56 or 57 would have 6v flatback style originally.

A new reflector includes all but the bulb. Seems cheap to me. Here are a couple more links.
