Rockshaft bolts

Postby Jack » Sat Sep 09, 2017 5:45 pm

I need :help: , I had plowed my fields and was running my disc over them when the three bolts to the rockshaft pulled out of the PTO. How can I repair so I can finish discing.
Thank you Jack

Hi,
Were you using long enough bolts that they used all the threads down in the holes, they have to be kept tight too.
The auto parts or whatever store you buy the coils at should know what size coils to use for the bolt size. :)

1/2"x13 bolts. Not exactly sure on length. I think 1".

Thank you guys

The bolts are in the field somewhere, so I will have to get new ones when I get the helicoil kit.
I will get 1" and 1 1/2" just to be safe

Parts catalog shows bolt length to be 1.5 for the manual lift and 1.25 for the hydraulic lift.
