Postby Kent F » Sun Oct 08, 2017 11:20 am

Someone gave me this tool, they thought it was possibly made by IH but didn't know for sure and didn't know what it is used for.
Approx 9.5 inches long including wooden handle, approx 4 inches wide.Any thoughts??

Not sure but could it be for pushing the piston into a brake caliper to install new pads?

Not sure but I've seen something similar for holding mower blades from turning when removing them.

That was my guess. It may be intended for something else but I bet to would do the job on a caliper piston just fine.

Ive got one of those blade busters, damn sight netter than wedging a block of wood in there. Saved me a few busted knuckles and cuss words.

Me too! Didn’t know it existed and I always used a wood block. I’ll probably use it a 2-3 times a season.
