Looks like I didn't mention the other nearby store in my previous post  ( :D ) My travels took me a couple doors down from the Ste. Genevieve, MO TSC today. Thought why not check. They HAD two C235's at 79¢, three C135's for the H at 69¢, two of the Cub Cadet ones for 69¢, and two of the C159 ones for my brothers Case VAC at a highway robbery price of $1.39! I find it interesting the Cub filter is the only one the four that doesn't include a gasket.

The guy said that they weren't discontinuing Fram but were in fact expanding the line to carry a bigger selection of filters. I didn't ask but I figure it's faster to setup an expanded line from scratch when they ship you everything all at once in a prearranged order, instead of trying to incorporate what you already have into the new display arrangement.

Hey Ricky! Thanks for posting this sale. I would never have noticed it otherwise and this has been fun in a scavenger hunt kind of way. Not to mention saving quite a few bucks along the way, including the $40 Carhart pants on clearance for $20 that rang up for $16 tonight. Don't know if they were included in the 20% off sale or just didn't have the latest clearance tag on them. Either way :{_}:

Score at TSC tonight. 1/C-235 $.79. Had none when I checked last week. I guess I’ll keep watching.

I hadn't had a chance to get that far southeast recently. There is also a TSC in Union, but I haven't been up that way either recently.

I got 2 filters for the Cubs at 3 different TSC’s and looked up other filter numbers for all our vehicles and mower and welder. Wound up with 19 filters for less than $34. Four of them go on our Duramax and ran the price up but still cheap.

Did some more searching of TSC's in surrounding KC area. Found total of 3 at 2 stores. All $0.79 apiece. :coffee:

Stopped by the TSC store in Dunnellon FL today. Scored one more C235 at 0.79 and 10 various inline fuel filters both metal and plastic for 0.49 each.
The clerk said they were receiving them from the warehouse a few at a time so keep checking.

Hmmm... I never thought of checking on fuel filters. I may need to stop again...

Bought a C135 near home for $.74 out the door. The cashier picked up the box and looked at it and said "that's pretty cheap". I guess I'll give it to my brother for his daughters H since I don't have anything it will fit.

Thought I'd share this. Here's a website you can select your brand of filter and type in the part number and cross it to or from Fram. http://www.oilfilter-crossreference.com/

I crossed 3 over to some things we own and bought them all at a discount at TSC. One is a Briggs and Stratton on our mower.
Fram # PH8170 crosses over to these Briggs #'s
120485
492056
492932
492932S
5049
695396
696854
842921

One is a Fram PH3614 crosses over to a Kohler
Kohler #'s
52 050 02
52 050 02S
520-5002

One is a Fram PH8172 crosses over to Kohler
Kohler #'s
12 050 01
12 050 01S
12 050 08
12 05001S

I'm pretty sure the only difference in the 2 Kohler's is one is short and one is long for clearance issues on some engines. They both fit our welder and don't have a problem with either.
