H4 Magneto for Cub

I have a H4 magneto will it fit on a cub?if not why?
I would like to know the difference between the J4 and the H4
so when I talk shop i have some idea what i'm talking about.

The nice thing about an H4 is the coils are quite a bit cheaper. The bad thing is the spark advance is too much. The cub J4 is 13 degrees, the H4 is 35 degrees. The results would be spark knock and with much use blow-by and excessive oil consumption due to rings wearing excessively. I think the impulse can be switched between a J4 and H4, if you have one available, but not sure. That would solve the advance problem.

The advance problem John described is the big reason. I think you will also find the H-4 is longer than the J-4 and it gets crowded between the distributor cap and the oil filter housing.
