(2) RARE DEMASTRATORS

Postby BSR » Thu Nov 23, 2017 9:49 am

I recently purchased 2 demonstrators ,1 with original white paint, and 1 I bought from the original owners family. The son told me his father bought it new. The dealer came to their farm and demonstrated some implements . The father said he take it,but he told the dealer he had to paint it Red,.that was suppose to be done anyway before it was sold. When I was loading it on my trailer the daughter was taking pictures of it and telling me that she grew up on that tractor and glad it's going to a good home.the only bad thing ,I had to pay a little more than George did for the cub and implements in 1950. I guess you can call that inflation?

Please post lots more.......this is a good chance to document an unmolested demo as far as what was red, what wasn't etc.
