I picked up a second ‘46 A telling my wife it was going to be “a quick flip”.
That was 6 years ago!

"But Honey I bought it for PARTS." " But Honey I got it RUNNING, how can I part it out now?? "

That doesn't work. Wife wants the money in her hands.

Did I tell the story about my check book, probably not. Day or two after we were married, I took wife to my bank and put her name on the checking account. Later that day wife said she needed the check book to buy groceries. That was almost 50 years ago, and the last time I had my hands on the check book.
I have an excuse. CRS.

I am with you...I haven't even seen the checkbook for years. Strange and I am sure I am the only guy experiencing this but....she seems to know about every bolt I buy but I have no idea what she is buying...how did that happen?
