Please help identifying my implements

Postby Command52 » Mon Dec 04, 2017 4:52 pm

Here are the implements I got with my cub that belonged to my grandfather, I have no idea if they are the correct year to go with the 1957 cub. Not sure If they are even the correct pieces to go with a cub, If they are correct for the cub i want to restore them also. How do I identify them as far as if they are for the cub, and what model or maker they belong to , I know my pictures are not the best but I have a busted knee and this is all I have till I get back on my feet. I have looked the implements up on here but they all kind of look the same to me, I don't want to make guesses because when I get parts I want to know what I have when ordering them so I am turning to you guys that have been great help, Please let me know if you need measurements or anything that may help Thank you Billy

Cultivators(not complete), second pic looks like a cub disc but has been modified to a pull behind disc, third pic is 193 moldboard plow(not complete), and fourth is a Mott flail mower(not complete)

You can down load the manuals for the implements.

Suggest looking through the shop, barn, parts storage area for the missing parts.
I have an excuse. CRS.

The cultivator could be a Cub 144 Cultivator, I'm not sure, there are many leaves in the pic.
The Cub 144 Cultivator is for crops growing in rows.
Below is a page from the Cub 144 Cultivator owner's manual, it shows the Universal Mounting Frame, which has to go on the Cub first, to use the cultivator.
The same Universal Mounting Frame is used to attach different models of cultivators to the Cub. ... age-11.jpg

The Disc is similar to this one, Below is a page from the Cub L 38 Disc owner's manual. There is a non Fast Hitch model in the manual. The manual shows Fast Hitch and Non Fast Hitch models were made. ... e%2009.jpg

Below are pics from TM Tractor of how the Cub 193 Plow mounts on a Cub. You have to have the Cub drawbar, and the Depth Control Lever, on the right side of the Cub.
Not all plows had the chain on the right side, going to the depth control lever mounting. If yours is not made for it, it doesn't need it. ... ow_001.htm
