Hello all,
Here are 2 links to some photos of working cubs.

The first is my dads 48 plowing up my garden
Posing w/ the 48 is my 58 on the back side of my barn

The second link is the addition to our family...a 54 cub w/ wagner loader.
Posing next to my 58.

Enjoy.

The link to the ones with the Wagner loader didn't work. But the first link did and Wow! Great pictures! By the way, the barn looks fantastic! How big is it?

storage space for many more cubs right? Nice looking tractors, the loader link worked for me. Would like to have equipment like that for mine, but the bigger farmalls do the job.

Thanks for the replys. Yes, we had a good time. Thats my Dad on the tractor doing the plowing, I was behind the camera...
The 48 cub he owns was his fathers who bought in new in 48. The plows and harrow you see were all purchased in 48. I think it is neat that I am now using the plows and harrow...3 generations later.

Yep, the barn has plenty more room for more cubs...just waiting to find the right deals!

Tucker , those are some nice pics :D , thanks for posting them..... I ve always heard that the Cub is a 1 plow tractor your pic says otherwise.... How do you mount the second plow and control it seperatly from the other plow? Is the 2 plow set up from IH? A local classafied ad recently had a 2 plow Cub for sale, wish I had looked at it , but just assumed that it was not possible to pull 2 plows with a Cub.....

Jackman - that is a 2 way plow. Also sometimes called a hillside plow. Only one bottom is in the ground at any given time. The plow allowed you to plow a furrow then turn around at the end of the field and drop the other plow into the ground and plow back along the furrow you just made going in the other direction.
The cub 189 is a 2 way plow.

The Cub I'm restoring now has one of the 2 way plows. Just finished installing most of the hardware for it this last weekend. Boy I wish they were mine and not my brother in laws.

Bigdog,

Thanks great info I like learning new stuff, funny that I never even thought about the fact that the single plow will be turning the next furrow over in the opposite direction after the tractor is turn around at the end of the field......
