I picked up the 1940's and 1950's DVD's at my local tractor supply for less than $8 each. The 1940's DVD is a must have for a cub owner.

That's the ones I'm talking about. The 40's one is all about Cubs.

They "preserved and enhanced their original content." With extra music and sound effects. Hmm.......

I haven't viewed any of them but I feel sure the Farmington DVDs are better. They are carefully restored and haven't had extra music, etc. added. They are what you would have seen at your IH dealer!

Whoops I see we are talking about 2 different video's. This is what I have:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Farmall-Classi ... SwvTpaS458

This video does have the trimmed dash cub footage showing the new farmall cub and all implements. I would like to see the Farmington ones though they look like they cover everything.

That one looks like some sort of knock-off. There is no description of the item. The statement "UPC: Does not apply" seems particularly noteworthy.

Like I said the Farmington Implement films haven't been modified, but restored and digitized. They've gone through extraordinary lengths to preserve these old films (there are a couple where they have the only known copy left) and they're the "real deal." The fact the other dvds have had sound effects, etc. added is a big red flag to me.

Haha, what is with the tractor driver on the second video at 0:08 ?? I don't think I could force myself to drive a tractor that way! Can't believe he didn't tear up something.

I wonder if that was done for testing the durability of the tractor? :?

I ordered the TM one, for the Forties, from Amazon for $9.99. I watched it this morning and I was pleased with it. And yes, there were two segments on soil conservation, but also two segments on the Cub. As for the quality, I kind of enjoyed the black and white ones as that was what the original version would have been. The second segment on the Cub, the one you can find on youtube, was in color. Overall I am pleased with it.
