Time Marches On

Postby Barnyard » Fri Feb 09, 2018 10:32 pm

A few year ago Bill Hudson offered an old calendar to the first person to claim it. I was fortunate enough to see it within minutes so I said "Pick me, Pick me!" So I ended up with an outdated calendar...or did I.

Here is the cover of the calendar as well as the February page. Who remembers the name of the person as well as the name of the Cub that was featured on the February Cub?

Thank you Bill Hudson.
I gotta hang this in the shop.

I think you can reuse the same calendar every thirteen years (or something like that). A few more years and it'll have the right dates on the right days. :D

Hi,
My Almanac with a calendar table, says a 2007 calendar is the same as a 2018 calendar, so you could use the 2007 calendar this year, if you want to.
Notice that January 1 was a Monday in both years.

I'm not sure if every Holiday is the same in both years though. :)

I didn't know Rudi well, but when l first joined the forum, l had a problem with my govenor on "work horse". He, Big dog, and Barnyard were johnny on the spot to help me figure out and fix my problem. Rudi even emailed me specs on the govenor that l hadn't found any where else.
From seeing references to him, and the info he provided to this forum, he must have been a special person. Wish l had got to know him better.
Why is there never enough time to do the job right, but always enough time to do it over. :?:

Bob, this one has the dates right.

Yes, I saw that when I got the calendar out. That is why I said I gotta hang this in the shop.
