Postby txflur » Fri Feb 23, 2018 12:10 pm

Could someone kindly pont me to a video on how to change points/condenser on a 12V system?

I looked in the video section and did not see anything.

Thanks,

Jason

Hi,
You didn't say what year the Cub is.
Below are pages from the 1965 Cub owner's manual showing the Battery Ignition unit, and the points.
It starts on the right side of the first page, that is a magneto on the left side.

Below is the whole 1965 Cub owner's manual, the experts on here recommend everyone with a Cub read it. It has lots of info about operation, maintenance, and lubrication. There is a table of contents on page 1.
This manual has info for the 12 volt Cubs, with generators, before mid 1975. :)
