bobscooter wrote:well guys still no start, will try tomorrow , have another question, I have a cub lowboy best I can read 25687-j think it is around 1963 has a 1 pt hitch, would like to switch the hitch to a regular cub about same year model any one have any info if it will work before I go through all the trouble to take off if it will not work, thanks

No, won’t work

25687J shows it to be a 1968 Loboy. Of course the serial number may be from a replacement bolster if other signs of 1963 features are prominent. 1963 round nose. 1968 square nose. Check your casting codes. 1963 casting code is J. 1968 casting code is O. Have fun with it whatever the year!

Cannot use a fast hitch off a loboy on a regular cub. No matter what year it is. Almost two completely different animals. Very few parts are the same.
Edit: place an ad in the vine to see if someone might trade your loboy fast hitch for a regular cub fast hitch
