Re: restoring the "53"
Thanks.... just cant believe I lost all my pictures I took with with my cell, had it on charge, in the morning I turned it on and had a card error, all gone, had some nice detailed pictures I wanted to share, especially the touch control, the filter inside was half gone, what a job it was taking that apart, main piston was locked in there.... the control still has a small leak behind the boot, but I'm sure that its my fault , had a feeling I damaged a new seal in it while putting it together, should have stopped there and ordered a new one, but its not bad, I'll just wait until next winter and break it back down
and for the pictures...... well I guess its a good excuse to buy another cub and start over with a more reliable camera (I'm sure the wife will understand)

Re: restoring the "53"
Drifting1,
Beautiful job on the restoration!!!
If your control arm is still leaking, it could be due to the wrong o ring supplied with the rebuild kit. Same thing happened to me!
TM tractor has the correct size. http://www.tmtractor.com/new/hy/674fp.htm
I believe you have to remove the hydraulic unit to install the correct O ring.
Good luck.
