Very nice! I like your Cub in its "work clothes" and being non-electric. Does the 151 plow work well? Bet you're ready to use it this Spring, huh?

Thanks for sharing the pics.

Thanks Guys!

I love this tractor just the way it is as well. It's got "pitina" in my opinion.

I purchased the 151 this last year from Dale Shaw and haven't had a chance to use it much yet, so I'm really excitted to play with it this spring in preperation for our Pumpkin Patch that we'll be putting in. I'll tell you though, once I installed the 151, I'm pretty much dedicating this Cub to that plow as it is really heavy and aqukward to move around....fun plow though!

Hi Rob!

I know how you like "original" tractors, and this one qualifies for sure! Nice looker! I hope to see it up close and personal at the Cheesy Fest this year...It would be COOL watching it turn the dirt on the hill!!!

Nice tractor! Curious to learn what the yellow rod does, the one running from the front axle back?

That helps guide the plow in the direction of the Cub as it turns.

Barnyard hit it on the head. The yellow rod attaches to the right front spindle of the Cub, runs back under the tractor and attaches to the steel guide wheel on the plow so that when you turn the wheels on the Cub to turn, the guide wheel turns as well.

Thanks guys! Back in 1949, this tractor without a starter, lights or hydraulics was the least desirable Cub, but to me, 60 years later, it's one of my favorites!
