1951 Modified Cub

Tue Mar 08, 2011 11:40 am

I took these photos at the Winter Convention last weekend in Columbus, IN. With full permission of the owner, I'm posting these photos here.
Not sure whether to post this in the LoBoy section or not. hehe It was originally a Cub, so I'll go with that. It belongs to Don Ranzenburger from Spring Grove, MN. It drew alot of attention in the display. It was raining, so the photos were a bit rushed. The finals were rotated 90 degrees and special spindles on the front. I'm told that the grille is incorrect, but I'll let the experts fill that part in...enjoy...

I've seen that cub in person at the local Spring Grove Syttende Mai (Norwegian Independence Day) parade and festival in Minnesota. Very interesting unit. I like George Willer's "Rat Cub" about as well...

These "custom jobs" are pretty cool!

Here is George's two seater Rat Cub at Ohio CubFest in 2009.

I could probably get on and off of that one. Nice Cub.
