Re: My 65' Cub
I like the yellow and white on the round nose Cubs.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Re: My 65' Cub
Very strange, it has the newer steering gear, old style hood and grill, looks like a 12 volt starter, I think the front tin has been changed

Re: My 65' Cub
Serial# and/or casting codes would help clear that up.

I asked about these same things when I bought it, the Guy said that this is the way it was when he got it from his father in law. The only other change that I can see is the left final drive has been changed out. But I do like the way it looks. Walt

The serial# is 227178 J. The casting code on the clutch housing is 12 14 L. The casting code on the touch control cylinder block is 11 4 L. This is all that I can see without getting really greasy. If can help me confirm the year with these numbers I would be appreciative. Thanks, Walt

Re: My 65' Cub
Casting codes and serial both agree: 1965.
