Plow pics

Postby dirt cowboy » Thu Jan 10, 2013 11:33 pm

Here is my 1980 782 with a 12 inch brinly sleeve hitch plow and my friends 1987 1811 with a 10 inch brinly sleeve hitch plow. Dont mind the green and yellow paint on 12 inch plow, thats color it was when I bought it. My good friend and I plow fields and gardens in spring and fall for people.

Couple hefty rigs there, I bet they are some plowing machines!

Amazes me what those Cadets can do, quite a lot of muscle in a smaller package!

Keep an eye out on the CubFest page, hopefully Central Indiana Cub Fest will announce a 2013 date, we usually do a lot of plowing there with Cadets and Cubs. I had a blast plowing with my CC 100. It looks like you are only about an hour away (it is in Tipton, IN)

Thanks for sharing,
David

Thanks David, these cubs are quite the pulling machines. I want to put a dual on my 782 to help with traction and it will look like a big IH farm tractor. Me & ihquietline plowed 3 acres in 5 1/2 hours one saturday this fall. Total we have plowed around 5 acres just this fall alone. I enjoy discing, plowing & field cultivating. I hope to make it to plow day in Tipton. I cant wait till spring to roll some dirt.
