New Work Bench

Postby papermaker » Mon Mar 07, 2011 7:57 am

Here's a photo of the new workbench that I put together last fall to replace an old wooden bench. The bottom has a shelf that has expanded metal on it so that dust doesn't collect there! The top is 12'x2'x1/4" and was custom bend on a press brake at the steel fabricators

Nice work! My problem with a work bench is that it's a horizontal surface and any horizontal surface is a place to lay stuff. Eventually, I have to find another place to work.

Gary,
So very, very true!! You should have seen me scurrying around the week before DSCF trying to free up those table tops so y'all could lay something down.

I have the same problem with stuff piling up on my tables. My barn also has a way of filling up also(mostly with junk). Nice table though.
