I know these aren't the right color but most of you that know me know I'm a John Deere guy at heart, however I come by it honestly as you can tell by these pictures. These are pictures of my Grandpa Young, Dad and Uncles.

Right to Left: Dad, Grandpa, Uncle Carl. Tractor is a 1937 JD B. The picture was taken in the late '30's or early '40's. This was Grandpa's first tractor. When Grandpa sold the farm he had an auction and my dad wanted to buy the tractor for me, I was about 10 or 12 years old at the time. Anyway, the tractor sold for $600 and Dad thought it was too much at the time.

This is Grandpa on his '37 JD A with my Uncle Bob riding shotgun.

Here is Grandpa, Uncle Carl and Dad waving on Grandpa's A.

Grandpa was pulling a subsoiler and got hung up in some clay hardpan with his '49 A. Dad had to give him a helping hand with his '44 B. This picture was taken in the early '50's.

I know they aren't Farmalls but it warms my heart when I look at them. I wish I had those tractors now.

Nice pix Rick. I sure wish I had some of the many photos of my dad and grandad working our farm. Those pix disappeared several years ago.

Very nice family pictures Rick, be sure to copy plenty of them and store them somewhere safe.
Never seen a older John Deere like that with fenders before.
Thanks !

Nothing at all wrong with stickin' with your roots Rick, Love the pictures. I've got a few of those with my Poppy's cub, they're priceless. I'd love to have a tractor like either of them!
