Don, tell us about your new building. I hope to put something of my own up before too long and am looking for ideas...

I have barn envy now.

What size is it?

Nice Don! Both the line-up and the barn! Could there be a Western Maryland Cubfest in the near future?

For those with questions, the building is 30' X 60', with a 15' X 60' lean-to across the back. Although I have no immediate plans to heat the building, it has 1/2 inch foil faced rigid foam in the walls and roof to prevent condensation on the inside surfaces. The concrete floor has a moisture barrier and two floor drains. One in each bay. Two 3 inch conduit sweeps were installed prior to the concrete going in. The photos were taken before the concrete floor and four foot apron, the full length of the front, were installed. I did not do the building or the concrete work myself. The building cost approximately $18,000 and the concrete floor was $6,000. The next phase will be to bring power into the building. Next spring if my chief financal officer approves.
I can take more photos if someone wants them.

Hi Don,
Your "lineup" looks great! Your "stable" is as good as it gets. Enjoy.

Don,
That's my shop!! That is about the size I have in mind. How tall are your doors? Did you get someone local to do it for you?

The new building looks great, Don! I often wish I could level my old shop building & start over, it would look a lot like yours. My present shop is a 2500 Sq. Ft. chicken house that was here long before me. It's served me well, but isn't very pretty.

Al,

I see Don has had his new building for a while, and keeping it from us.
Look at the date stamp on this post.

I guess you had to have the concrete floor done before the big reveal Don.

Actually, I thought I had posted about the building back when it was finished. But, maybe I'm just imagining things.
