Hi everyone,
I just joined today. I am retired and have recently bought some farm land in North GA and a 1950 Farmall Cub. I look forward to raising a few chickens and having a garden. We have a pasture for a couple of horses and I will have fun riding the tractor. I have visited this site several times and look forward to all the information available.

WELCOME! You are about 4.5 hours from a great cubfest, Deep South CubFest (DSCF), held in Sneads, FL, in Feb. It's an opportunity to meet many forum members, participate in working on some tractors and assemblies, generally learn a lot about thes tractors, and eat some GREAT food. Oh, and did I mention the food?!

http://www.dscubfest.com

You can even bring your own tractor or (parts) and get knowledgeable help resolving problems you may have. Many of us head south from more than 10 or 12 hours away...it's worth it!!

Welcome!

Take some time and read through a few threads to acquaint yourself with the Forum:

After your 2nd post on the Forum, you'll have access to the all the free PDF Manuals. They are located via "Quick Links" in the upper left corner of your screen. Hit that and a pull-down appears where you'll find "PDF Manuals". Through that link, you'll be able to download an Owner's Manual (very strongly recommended) and any service manuals that interest you. You'll be able to familiarize yourself with your new-to-you Cub more quickly. Implement Manuals are also available.

Might also enjoy reading through this thread: What to do with a Cub you just brought home

Take some pictures of your tractor and post them. We’d like to see it.

Glad you joined us.

Agree with Dale, a Cubfest will get you some help with repairs and greatly increase your knowledge of all things Cub related.
