New member, hello
Hello all. I am new here. I currently own a 78 Kubota L245DT with front loader. I'm looking to take on a 55 IH 300 utility also for doing plowing and brush hogging. Kubota does all my heavy work now, road grading (1 mile worth of road) and logging. I'm hoping to learn more about the 300 here so I can give it the same TLC I have given my Kubota.

Welcome to the Forum. You can post your 300 questions here: viewforum.php?f=176 Your pictures might be too large to post. Try reducing to something less than 1000 x 1000.

Welcome, Cordak!
Take some time and read through a few threads to acquaint yourself with the Forum:
Now that you have 2 posts, you can access all the free PDF downloads in the Manuals section. They are located via "Quick Links" in the upper left corner of your screen. Hit that and a pull-down appears where you'll find "PDF Manuals". Through that link, you'll be able to download any of the manuals that interest you. I don't believe we have any on the 300 in our library. If you have one or run across one, let us know.
Might also enjoy reading through this thread, which is applicable to most any model tractor you bring home: What to do with a Cub you just brought home
Take some pictures of your tractor and post them. We’d like to see it.
Glad you joined us.
