Hey to all. Thanks, this looks like a great place. i got a 1963 loboy from a club member i was helping sell her husbands small engines and old mowers. Looking forward to exploring. I will post a couple of pictures later

The inner weights add about 40 lbs, per side. Fairly rare and worth $4-500 a pair. If you don't need the front end weight to counter an implement on the back, you could probably take them off.

Maybe the square nose hood here would work, rather than trying to repair yours...
