Greetings from Maryland

Postby Gabe184 » Sun Apr 24, 2022 7:10 am

Greetings all,

I've visited this site many times for reference on my 184 lo-boy and it certainly is a trove of information. The tractor has been in the family since 2006 and was actually a loaner unit from a New Holland dealer not far from my house. I was 8 at the time. We used it for many years but unfortunately no real maintenance was ever done to it before sitting until 2018 when I bought a house with 5 acres that needed cut. Rebuilt the starter, cleaned the carb, changed the oils, and it ran great. It preformed exceptionally these past few years until I put it down this past winter for a leaking oil seal and bad PTO belts. Now after tackling those issues and some much other needed maintenance, it's almost ready to start cutting again!

Hope to contribute to the forums as they have to me,

I could not say tractor when I was 2 years old so I called it Err Err.

I loved this tractor then and I still love it now.

Welcome! Don't forget to re-adjust the clutch after you run it for a few hours.
