Time's a wastin'My '55 Cub has been in my family since 1974-75. We used it for pasture mowing but it mostly sat uncovered in a pole barn in Indiana. I recently took possession of it after the death of my dad (8 years ago) and mother's recent relocation off the homeplace. One of my favorite photos of my dad is of him tooling around on her shortly before his death from cancer. He would have blown off in a light wind but he was happy as could be to be up and going behind the wheel. I have her running and let her out to exercise often. She leaks oil around the pan gasket but doesn't smoke and purrs like a kitten. Second gear knocks like a little man with a hammer and the mower belts are wearing but all I can think about is how complete she is and how much better she'll be after the mechanicals are gone through and she gets a shiny red paint bath. I recently taught my kids how to operate her so the third generation of family ownership will be involved as well.
Sounds great to hear a family tradition carring on!

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem. My wife says I don't listen to her. - - - - - - - - Or something like that! http://www.cubtug.com
I seen the title to this post _[Time's a wastin]_ by a feller named Funeralweb and it kinda put a little scare in me.

I recently moved to back to my boyhood area of Fountain City in Wayne County to purchase the funeral home where everything started for me. I lived in Madison for 15 years, where I founded Morgan-Webster-Nay FH in 1996. I passed through Marysville often taking the scenic route to Charlestown.

All this proves is that one gnome pounding on the keyboard for years still will not produce the works of Shakespeare.
