kinelborWhy did I choose kinelbor as a handle? Kinelbor = Nik (kin) Roble (elbor) I am one of the youngins of the forum, I am 18, and will be 19 this winter. I am currently attending Northern Maine Community College majoring in Residential Construction. So far I have helped build 3 homes. I am also interested in welding. I have one bay of our garage devoted to my "shop" I live in New Sweden, Maine. New Sweden is located in the very northern part of the state. I plan to stay here all my life. I really enjoy working on and using my cub. I am glad to be a part of this great forum!

Nik:
Likes Cubs and is learning to be a residential contractor.. boy you done got it in spades. It amazes me at how much many of us have in common for our interests both in careers/professions as well as our hobbies. It shows in your work that I have seen both on the forum and personally, that you pay attention to detail. As a contractor.. that is one of the most important facets... paying attention to detail and making sure EVERYTHING is the absolute very best you can make it. No such thing as Good Enough.. ever I really am looking forward to the day we get to finally meet Confusion breeds Discussion which breeds Knowledge which breeds Confidence which breeds Friendship

Hi Nik
I'm new here myself. Nice to cyber-meet you. Northern Maine? Well then, you're pretty much a Canadian like Rudi and I! 18 years old - other than being twice your age, it sounds like we have some things in common, including cub-fever. And, at 36, I'm likely still one of the relatively young'uns here myself! You've got a big head-start on a lot of us, so, by the time you're 40, you ought to have 20 or 30 cubs in your collection! Do you have larger photos of your cub available to view. ...I'll look on the cubfest photo host... As some of you might have guessed by my profile photo, I'm also an archaeology nut, especially when it comes to finding arrowheads and other artifacts in our local plowed fields (that's an arrowhead photo and illustration in the top right inset of my profile photo). regards, Steve

Jackman, Caribou is about 10 miles south of me. I went to highschool there. Steve, I live farther north than Rudi too!

I do have a battery, but there is a weak link somewhere that I am yet to find. It cranks over poorly in the summer and not at all now that its below 50. I use the handcrank and it fires up no problem in the cold.

PictureThat's some beautiful scenery in the background, Nik! Do you raise Christmas trees? Great looking Cub, too! The fellow that I used to by hay from has one of those dump trailers; a very handy tool to have at one's disposal. My parents were married in Portland, in a large Cathedral. I think it was called St. Peters. I've been a lot of places, but haven't made it to Maine yet. I think that is one of three states East of the Missisippi that I haven't been in!
All this proves is that one gnome pounding on the keyboard for years still will not produce the works of Shakespeare.
No animals were hurt in the rending of this page, but 18 queries were mangled in about 3.874 seconds.
We dont raise christmas trees here. We just planted most of those to act as wind break for winter. The trees in the back are my neighbors, also for a wind break. We live on top of a hill so it makes a big difference.
