high crop QuestionI'm looking for a cub ,so far my only local options have been a high crop and assorted wrecks. Is the high crop a row instrument only? can a typical Flail or belly mower be used? Does it negate the use of a front end loader or other implement? I may have to live with only one cub for a while. I currently do not own a cub now but I've got the bug.I thought my MF165 would be the smallest tractor I'd own.
Mike,
If all else looks good to you, go for the hi-crop! Quickly! It can be easily converted to standard by swapping wheels with one of the many who want them. The only thing different will be the front axle that's a little wider than standard. You could probably even swap that if you wanted to. By making the swaps you may recover part of your cost.
