Introduction from Eastern Indiana

Hello from eastern Indiana! I have been lurking for about a month, and I thought that it would be a good time for an introduction. I hail from Upland, Indiana (north of Muncie and a little south of Marion). This is a wonderful site, and I have already learned so much.
I grew up outside the town of Paxton, Illinois in central Illinois and I spent many years riding on my father's 55 cub doing the mowing chores with the belly-mounted Woods mower. The old 55 was given to my father by my grandfather. Both of my grandfathers were farmers, and to the best of my knowledge this old cub was the only IH product that either one of them owned.
The great news is that I recently purchased a home on a few acres outside of town (Upland, IN), and my father is giving me the cub - he got one of those "green" tractors. It has not run in 3 years, but it always has been housed in a garage. I hope to get this old tractor up and running sometime before the grass gets too high at my property. Unfortunately, I will have to remodel the entire house (new hardwood floors, doors, kitchen, etc.) before I can start on the cub project.
I hope to learn even more as I lurk on the site. Thanks a bunch!
