Hey ya'll. Ok, here's the story, I'll try to make it short. I'm 32 years old, lived in Oregon and Washington until I was 10, lived at a rodeo arena. So at a very young age, I was on a horse or a tractor. I can't remember brand or anything, but it was a big tractor. Fast forward to 1986, I'm living in NY, farming and horses has went out the window, somehow I'm being turned into a city boy. Fast forward again to 2000, I move with my (now) ex-wife to SC. I realize very quickly that I am still a country boy (redneck) from way back. Fast forward one more time to 2002, I move with my current wife to a small community named Jackson SC. 2800 Sq Ft. house on 4.79 acres. The gentleman I bought the house from lives back across the field, and has a newere FWD Kubota, which I quickly take over. One more fast forward....2004, that gentleman moves, taking his Kubota with him, so I am again tractor-less. 3.5 acre field in the front that I do nothing with now because of no way to do anything with it. OK, I lied, one more fast forward. Fast forward to last week. I buy a 1956 Lo-Boy Cub. Body in great shape, surface rust only, runs, original paperwork, manuals, etc., nothing missing, with a 22 mower, a spring harrow, a bottom plow, and a disc harrow for $1500. I am now in love with tractors, and want to buy a 55 Lo-Boy since that was first year production. Anywho...glad to be a part of the forum, I'm also a regional leader for the SC chapter of fordtruckworld.com so anyone who has a Ford truck, come on over, we have a blast. Glad to be here, hope I can help those who need it, and hope I can get help when I need it.
