I've been around awhile. I don't like to talk much, I think it just seem to catch up with me later on. I took on a new job last Aug teaching Wood shop at a High School here in north central ILLINOIS. Herscher is a nice small country town. I still live in Morris though and drive it back and forth every day. It is a pain but I don't know when I'll buy a house. I keep spending my money on Cub tractors a nother toys.
Anyway my students have made several different projects, with my guidance of course, it the shop. They range from Gun Cabinets to desks and benches. Here are a few pictures of the Quality I expect from all Students. Enjoy.

Hey Jason, if that much pride in workmanship goes into the Cubs and other tractors, I can only imagine what they look like. Congrats, Pete

I get on my students hard about paying attention to detail. I figure if
I stress that, the students will in return take their time working and maybe realize that I do care. I did have one project this year that had to be thrown away, I was to embarrassed to let it leave because it turned out so bad. I will try and dig up more pictures.

Here is a link to a few more projects, my construction class built the shed.
We made several successful projects and hope to do many more this coming year.

Enjoy
