BTW I used to live in Hamburg and always enjoyed coming to Philly for entertainment on the weekends. There were several antique tractor guys in Leesport and Kutztown. If you put the word out in Central PA you'll probably find a cub there somewhere.

Oh, to my mind a 454 Class A should be in a 1969 Olds 442 W-30 HO never mind some stuffy Vette ... you won't find too many stuffy 442 owners.. there are actually only a few of them.. as a true 442 is really pricey.. 1/4 million is a bit pricey...

well, my never finished project car got sold, I have $900 towards another project..... in addition to some other money stashed for projects.... so I set a budget of $1500 for a "in need of a restoration" cub....... am i way off? I know it will take money to restore it, but I thought if I could keep the initial cost around $1500, Id be ok?

not sure how these little guys sell up that way but $1500 sound reasonable to me.

Three of my Cubs came from PA. The tractors along with two sickle mowers, front blade, and moldboard plow totaled $3005. All three tractors were runners, one with all new tires. They were bought at different times within the last nine years. Two were eBay and one was from a forum member. Good luck! We hope you're able to join in the real fun soon.

I paid almost $1,100.00 Cdn for Elllie along with a plow and harrow and $850.00 Cdn for Granny all by her lonesome. Both runners. I have seen cubs on for a pretty good price.. but all depends on how far you want to travel. Depending on the price, what comes with it etc., a Cub Run could be a good weekend project..

For example there is a 1953 Antique Farmall Cub With Equipment that would probably be a good deal ifn it wasn't a Total Estimated Time: 12.0 hours 47 minutes Total Estimated Distance: 783.19 miles away from you.

On the bright side.. this particular 1953 Farmall Cub Lowboy +Snow blade, Belly Mott, Plow++ is only Total Estimated Time: 56 minutes and a Total Estimated Distance: 45.07 miles, making this one pretty high on the possibility list.

A little beat up, a little worse for wear looking is fixable. With a little bit of TLC and elbow grease.. should be a snap. Compared to restoring old cars.. this one is a peach.. Let us know when you find one.. and don't forget about the implements. IFn you just want to show the Cub, you might want a nice implement to show with it, the others are always cash in the piggy bank
