Introduction

Postby Bret Rochotte » Sun Aug 24, 2008 9:14 pm

Hello;

I recently joined and failed until now to post a proper introduction. I have Cub #15862, equipped with a c3 mower. I purchased it a few years ago and have been using it to mow. I was at Portland IN last week and ran into some helpful people most notably Steve from eastern Ohio. I never did get his last name and he doesn't have email. Still having PTO problems, but I know it is due to excessive end play in the the front shaft and I am planning on splitting the tractor. I may be able to make it to the upcoming Cubfest in Tipton, anyone have directions? I live in New Bremen, West Central Ohio, South of Wapokoneta and North of Greenville. Thanks for the helpful information and good company.

Bret,

Welcome aboard! You will have a great time here.

I traveled through New Bremen on my way to a job interview in Spencerville. I was really impressed with the town. During the interview I was asked about what I thought about northwest Ohio. I made a comment about my impression of New Bremen and one of the interviewers said 'All they do down there is rake leaves and drink beer.' :)

Welcome, Bret. You have some nearby Cub neighbors. Rick Neuman (Redman) is just north of New Knoxville. He hosted a Cub Fest in 2007 and I'm just down the road in Sidney.
