new member intro

Postby 47lincsled » Sun May 10, 2009 3:51 pm

Hi Guys, I just got my 47 Farmall Cub home and figured this would be the place to answer all the questions I'm probably going to have as I get to know my little tractor. I live in extreme northern AZ, a very small town called Fredonia, between my place and my mother in laws we have about 5 acres, we plant a small garden and orchard but mainly I wanted this unit to keep the blow sand under control, hopefully I'll be able to add some more attachments to make it more useful, it came with a front mounted blade but has all the rear attachment points, it runs great, starts first time every time, has a new radiator and great oil pressure, I gave $800 for it from a friend. Thanks to those that put in all the time and effort to keep sites like this operating. Bob.

Now I know what you meant. You need to get look in the Cub-54 Leveling and Grader Blade 6-7-53 Owner's Manual to mount the blade under the belly. That will help you grade keep the blowing sand under control... :!:

Welcome to the Forum. As others have already said, there is a wealth of infornation available. If you can't find what you need, or don't know where to look, ask away and you'll get good answers back quickly. I'm in northern Colorado, there are a few members in AZ.

With the info in the main forum it's a Loboy with Fast-Hitch. Belly Mount Grader Blade is a "no-can-do".
