I would like to introduce myself to the forum. I'm from NW Mo. and farm and collect red iron. Just bought a Cub Saturday and saw this site and I know I'll have several questions. If you all get tired of me asking so many questions just tell me. I'll start of by asking the age of the cub I bought. I think it is a 1950 but will have you guys double check no# 118186. Hope to chat with you all.

Hey Larry, welcome to the forum from another Missourian. I live about 70 miles south of St. Louis, and am as much a hillbilly as they get. Are you by chance a member of the Mo chapter of IHCC (International Harvester Collectors Club)? There are a number of members in your area. For a lot of info on cubs go to
http://www.antique-tractor.com/CubFAQ/cub_faq.html and
http://www.atis.net/CubFAQ/cub_faq_2.html
as for as questions, just ask away, we will have lots of answers, some of them may even be right.

The short answer to your question is yes, your tractor was built in November 1950.

Near the top of this page is a line with a bunch of links. One of them is "Manuals". If you click on it, you get the top page of Rudi's site, which has a lot more than manuals. About 1/3 down the page is:
IH and OEM Manufacturing Information
Cub Production Information

Click on "Production information" and the next page contains
Trent's Farmall Cub Database
Cub Production SpreadSheets - Excel Format
Cub Production SpreadSheets - PDF Format
IH Cub Lo-Boy Production SpreadSheets - PDF Format

Click on one of the "Cub Production SpreadSheets" and you will get a large table of production details.

Look the table over and you will find a lot of good data. Trent will be looking for data from your tractor to add to the table.

Larry I also welcome you. I was born and raised just to the east of you in Harrison County. Left in 86. Was just up there this last weekend. Now in middle of the state.

Larry:

First welcome and congratulations on acquiring your first Farmall Cub. Bet you can't stop at just 1 :!:   They are pretty addictive. To add to what Jim already said, might I suggest that you read the text below. It will give you a brief introduction to the resources that are available here on Farmallcub.com. It is quite unlike any other old iron site on the net.

Image to Farmallcub.com :big smile: Forum Family. And you have come to the right place for all things Cub related. If you click on the Site Rules, Regulations, & Important Information, it will point you to  the Welcome Wagon wherein you will find links to many useful sites and topics. One of which is the Cub Manual Server. Enjoy!.

We enjoy questions, so fire away :D

Welcome Larry!! I know you'll like your Cub and this forum. Jim is correct, I would very much like to have information from your tractor as I collect from every Cub I can. :D For now, get settled in and you'll probably see me post a request or 2 for the Cub info in the main forum. PM or email me anytime if you have questions about the database. :D

Thanks for all the welcomes. I keep reading more info on my Cub all the time on here. When I bought the cub the previous owner said it was going to be a project tractor. Had set for awhile and wasn't running. But I have it going now and still have more to do. I really don't want to but to help on the repairs I might be selling the implements that came with the tractor. What would be a ball park figure or asking price on a front blade, 1 bottom plow, cuiltivator and a sickle bar mower? The mower needs some work but the rest seems to be ok. Thanks again.

Larry- You probably want to post your request for approx. values on the main Cub forum. More will see it and you'll get more replies. BTW, be prepared to be asked for pics of the implements. Pics will help determine the values.
