Steve:

Glad to read a bit more about you. Living in the country or even in a small rural town is worlds apart from the city, even a small one. Life is a lot slower and I like to believe that along with the pace of life being slower, we as people also kind of adapt to that and change how we view things and tend to be a lot more relaxed than how we would be in the big city. I know for me that is what happened. Moved to the country 23 years ago, and I find that I mellowed out a lot, and then after retiring mellowed out a whole lot more. Life in the country is relaxing even with all the hard work and all that goes with it. Enjoy it, as they said in "Green Acres" -- "Green Acres is the place to be. Farm livin is the life for me. Land spreading out so far and wide. Honey I love ya but give me that country side!" :D

Oh and don't worry. Not knowing much about Cubs is only a temporary situation. There are lots of folks here who can help out with that. I am not sure how close you are to any of the Cub Gatherings, but check out the CubFest and Gatherings calendar at the top of the forums and if you can get to one, I am sure that you will have a great time, meet a lot of great folks and probably learn a ton about Cubs.

I have seen pics of some of your work. The EZ-Kab sure is an interesting accessory for the Cub. I would like to see more information on it at some point.

Image to Farmallcub.com :big smile: Forum Family. And you have come to the right place for all things Cub related. If you click on the Site Rules, Regulations, & Important Information, it will point you to  the Welcome Wagon wherein you will find links to many useful sites and topics. One of which is the Cub Manual Server. Enjoy!.

Steve,

A formal welcome to you! I have noticed your prior posts and glad you have jumped right in!

A Cub can't be that much different from the Mode A's from a difficulty standpoint, you should master things in short order.

Best of luck with your Cub,

I think one of the younger member's father has A's, over by Port Huron, I think.

My folks lived in Webberville for a while. Nice thing about MI is that most of it is decent farmland, so you should be fine.

I would highly recommend planting some asparagus. Miller nurseries in NY has great stock.

Welcome to the board!
