New member in LouisianaHello Everyone! I just acquired what will hopefully turn out to be the 1st of my Cubs, a '49 model. My fondest memories of going to my grandfather's farm in Runnelstown, MS, are of spending hours on his old Cub, swapping seat time with my cousin. Since my wife and I have recently acquired a 40-acre place we're fixing up to retire on, I had been wanting to find a Cub I could restore. Oddly enough, through an unlikely series of events, the one I got was originally owned by my stepsons grandfather. He thought the old tractor had been lost to the family and now he's on cloud 9 knowing he'll inherit it someday (many, many years from now!). I'm hoping to make the Cubfest in Hammond, LA, next March to get some help with my limited knowledge. In the meantime, I'll be lurkin' !!!
