Hello all. The information you provide on the site is terrific. I am the new owner of a 1947/48 cub. locater in Maine.

Todd, welcome to the site! So tell us, is it a mix between a 47 and a 48 or what? Just wondered why you call it that.

I call it a 1947/48 as the serial number plate is not on the tractor. I casting date for the engine 12/16/47 and the other castings are early 1948.

Wish I new the serial number but nothing I can do about that issue.

Todd, Welcome to the forum. When castings were made they had to sit for a while and cure, so yours is probably a 1948.
