Hello, My name is Paul. I am in the Elkin NC area. I have been around tractors for years but never owned a Farmall cub until recently. My cub is a 1956 model with a fast hitch. It came with an original scrape blade, moldboard plow, and disk, I also have a full set of 144 cultivators for it. This little tractor came from the widow of the PO, I don't know how long he owned it but it looks to be in pretty much original condition, I can see a little yellow paint on some of the lift arms and the scrape blade so I guess they were added later. I wanted a small tractor to cultivate my garden and it works great. I don't plan on painting it any time soon. I look forward to learning more about the Farmall Cub.
Thanks

Hey, Paul! Hi from Chapel Hill, NC!! Don't know if you are interested, but next Saturday, July 7th, a few of us are getting together at Breadmen's Restaurant here in Chapel Hill for breakfast (at 9am), then going over to the shop I am lucky enough to use, where we are going to replace the rear seal on a '55 Cub that I sold to my neighbor. Why don't you come join us?! If you have any quextions, give me a call or PM me: 919-969-6543
